Alexis M. (“Alex”) Fenton, M.D., F.A.C.C. is a Board-Certified Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiologist. He is also Board-Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases.
Dr. Fenton received his B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering / Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. He earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. He then went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at Boston University and his residency at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA.
Dr. Fenton completed a National Institutes of Health Research Fellowship, as well as his Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Dr. Fenton’s professional interests include improving his patients’ lives through the use of ablation, device implantion, and medical therapy to manage their heart rhythm problems and other cardiac disorders.
In his free time, Dr. Fenton enjoys keeping up with friends and family, running, and writing/recording/performing music on the keyboard.
