Ghassan Abusaid M.D., FACC is Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology, Cardiovascular Disease, and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Abusaid is a graduate of the American University of Beirut, Lebanon. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from Kaunas University of Medicine Lithuania. He completed his Cardiology Fellowship at The University of Texas Medical Branch Board at Galveston and Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center at Houston. He then went on to complete his interventional cardiology fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Abusaid is Board Certified by The American Board of Internal Medicine in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is a Diplomate in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He is certified by the National Board of Echocardiography.
His professional interests include the diagnosis and management of cardiovascular diseases, including coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmia. With the advances in technology and imaging modalities, Dr Abusaid believes physicians can now treat complex coronary and peripheral occlusive lesions with a comprehensive, staged and minimally invasive approach to help improve symptoms and prolong life. He enjoys his career as a physician and believes in excellent and patient centered care. His outside interests include spending time with his wife and three children, wood turning, nature, classical guitar, and playing sports.
